The staff here was very helpful and attentive to everything we needed, the room was newly renovated and had a lovely decor.

I was given an extremely pleasant room with with a full bathroom, tea and modern decor. I really enjoyed a nice decor. Location: the hotel was near macleans waterfalls, cathedral caves and lost gypsy gallery, tourist attractions and the South Island and Stewart Island.

Scenic location in a relaxed area that's totally stunning! Plus, there's a supermarket nearby for convenience 🛒.

The location was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, short walk to a quiet area, the falls and macleans waterfalls, cathedral caves and lost gypsy gallery. It also was close to Cathedral cave.

The rooms with shared bathroom. A lot of lovely food at breakfast time.

Wi-Fi was very spotty.

The chalet had very comfortable beds, coffee and tea making facilities, a multi-channel TV, and a seating area, all in a clean and tidy environment.

The double room was compact.

Great service here and the food looks very inviting. the rooms feel cozy and are just the right size, with a nice big bed and a bathroom that includes a really good shower. 🌟

We loved our stay at The Whistling Frog Resort and didn't want to leave. The hotel was a perfect place to enjoy the surrounding attractions like McLean Falls and Cathedral Caves. It is conveniently located near 24-hour petrol stations and within driving distance to Dunedin and Invercargill.

The location of the venue is great, near a quiet area, eateries, and tourist attractions. The property is excellently situated in the lower north island, only 2 miles from Cathedral Caves. The staff were all extremely helpful and resolved any issues I had. The room I booked was beautifully decorated and very pleasant.
